El mate es la infusión protagonista de la vida cotidiana de todos los argentinos. La provincia de Misiones, la de las cataratas, la de la selva, la de la tierra colorada, importante destino turístico internacional, produce el 80% de la yerba mate que se consume en el pais. Esta región encierra costumbres y leyendas que son parte del folklore argentino. Alli se desarrolla esta historia. “La vaca verde” hace pie en el folclore de la explotación de aquellos que trabajan en la producción de la yerba.

“Mate” is an infusion that is part of the identity of Argentineans. The Province of Misiones –the one with the Iguazú falls, the rainforest, red soil, the major international tourist destination- produces 80% of all “yerba mate” consumed in the country. This region contains customs and legends that are part of Argentine folklore. This is the setting of The Green Cow.
